eyeOS in CeBIT: Day 1

The first day of eyeOS on CeBIT has started with the visit of the important authorities. José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero, Prime Minister of Spain, and Angela Merkel, Chancellor of Germany, visited the Hall 6. They visited eyeOS and we can say for sure that eyeOS.info will have 2 new users soon ;-) .

One of the most cool facts about this edition’s CeBIT and eyeOS is that we’re in two different stands at the same time. The eyeOS’ one itself, and the IBM one. If you are on CeBIT, visit the IBM Stand on Hall 2 (actually is the IBM zone, too big to be defined as stand) and on the System Z zone you’ll be able to see eyeOS working on their mainframes. Once again, thanks IBM.

    hey,

    i was there too! and it was unfortunately completly as i doubted:
    no 2.0 to show. Only some video’s. so as i thought it seems to be far away from releasing 2.0 -

    by the way: i got a cool sticker which i could put on my notebook, but the deal is now: no release no sticker pasted! ;)

    Nice to see eyeOS on System Z. I have the redPaper about eyeOs-IBM downloaded and it is great to see this congrats. and Hopefully waiting for 2.0
